The term Loss of Consortium means...
a claim for damages by a spouse for loss of companionship of the injured spouse. Consists of several elements, including material services, loss of society (ability to go out to dinner, movies, church, etc.) guidance (ability to carry on conversations, discuss problems, etc.) companionship and sexual relations.
